the highest 'light', 'one god', 'allah' in arabic, is not a being, but 'a law' - a system of ethics and other knowledge which all of our young gods are in the process of learning - the required curricula for graduating from this 'earth-school kindergarten'...
gods & deities
of course compared to us mere mortals, our gods are almost-infinitely large powerful intelligent etc, and live on a vast time-scale outside of ours...
there is one thing they often forget to mention to us - they are children, and each has much to experience and learn here. many belong to groups (hierarchies, pantheons, etc)... some play alone, some pretend there is only one god, or none...
the universe - virtual reality
the gods exist outside the universe. our serious real world is, for the gods, merely a virtual-reality game. our gods play, and we are their toys... some gods play nice, some play rough...
we are software & bits, and we pray for mercy & compassion. we are the art of our gods, and we pray for love, harmony, and beauty!
inside the universe are 3 layers...
spirits & souls - etheric critters
nearest to the gods, the metaphysical or etheric aspect of sentient creatures ('inhabited' nature) includes angels, devas, demons, spirits, souls, ghosts, etc (often confused with the gods, see map)
animals veggies minerals - physical critters
the physical or '3-dimensional' aspect of sentient creatures ('inhabited' nature) includes humans, mammals, birds, lizards, insects, plants, minerals, mountains, planets, stars, and other non-carbon-based life forms... also space aliens, time travellers, etc (often confused with the gods, see map)
'un-inhabited' nature - the inherent & original universe
the essential structure of our universe is copied from a universe originally created by sophia (see below). all of nature, non-sentient 'un-inhabited' creatures, a library of life-forms and templates for our gods to copy & adapt as they become more experienced and skilled playing here...
1. who is the devil - old villain - evil robot ? (boo! hiss! rotten eggs & pumpkins!)
the devil (aka the old villain) is an automated 'evil robot', existing only inside the virtual-reality universe. a simple teaching / 'pitching' machine, not itself a god, but appears to the gods as a wise & experienced fellow earth-school student who has 'been around for a while' and can show them a few clever tricks (or throw a few curves)...
inherently built-in to this universe forever, the evil robot has no other power or purpose but to provide mis-information. immense amounts of trouble in this world have been created by our foolish young gods (and us) confidently following the evil robot's evil advice, all part of the high cost of this educational method...
2. who is sophia - wisdom - creator of the universe ? (yay! applause! flowers & honey!)
even though some say so, none of our present gods created the universe... the original universe was invented and created as an art project, and just for fun, by sophia a long time ago when she was 'only' a child (about 7 years old, as i understand it)...
since then, sophia's original creation has been slightly 'improved' (see devil, above) and administered as 'earth-school kindergarten' by less joyful, less creative, grown-up-god parents, teachers & chaperones. if we critters & our young gods can meet the local bureaucratic requirements and 'get the hell out of here', maybe we'll catch up with sophia in sane free beautiful worlds beyond this one...
